Share Karo

Share Karo is a free service to support and reach the most vulnerable in our community  who can no longer feed themselves or their families and are cut off from other sources of help. We are the community member of Fareshare North East and work very closely with them to rescue surplus food which is at risk of becoming food waste. We offer a weekly food service to our service users. They can either choose to get their food box delivered or can collect from our centre. With every food box our service users reduce food waste, save CO2 and water. 

Our delivery areas include Ashington, Bedlington, Cramlington, Lynemouth, Widdrington, Seaton Delaval, Haltwhistle and Newbiggin by the sea up till Berwick Upon Tweed.   We are also supported by Bookers, Asda and Fareshare Goand are open to accept donations from both retailers and producers. With your help we can provide good surplus food to our community in need across Northumberland!
