The UBUNTU Project offers a range of activities and opportunities to help individuals and communities grow together!

UBUNTU Clubs

The start of a new journey!

Transforming Lives with Being Woman

Our flagship offering, the UBUNTU Clubs, are tailored to meet the emerging needs of skills development and increasing access to opportunities. Each club:

  • Runs for 12 weeks.
  • Provides participants with the flexibility to choose from six modules out of a selection of eight, developed in collaboration with FutureLearn.
  • Operates using a hybrid delivery model, combining online and in-person sessions. This model ensures accessibility for participants across Northumberland, where ethnic communities are geographically dispersed.
  • Encourages autonomy, choice, and flexibility to meet the diverse needs of participants.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join our team of dedicated volunteers and make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Whether it's facilitating a session or mentoring a participant of the club, there are many ways to get involved and give back.
